Caring for a loved one can be deeply meaningful—and challenging. The Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) invites caregivers to join us for a Caregiver Listening Session, an in‑person conversation designed to ensure your experiences, needs, and ideas directly inform future caregiver support services.
This session is an opportunity to be heard, share what’s working, identify gaps, and help DAAA shape programs that better support caregivers across Detroit and surrounding communities. Whether you are a family caregiver, friend, or neighbor providing care, your perspective matters.
What to Expect:
- A guided, supportive group discussion focused on caregiver needs
- A chance to share your experiences and recommendations
- Light dinner provided (Subway lunch boxes)
- Two $50 gas gift cards raffled during the event
