Advocacy

Advocating for seniors is one of the key roles of our agency. We work to represent the interests of older adults by educating public officials, consumer advocates and the community about older adult needs. We monitor proposed legislation and polices at the federal, state and local levels, with an emphasis on health, housing, transportation, income supports, consumer protection and long-term care.

Visit the legislative directory to write to national, state and local elected officials.
