APPLICATION: Senior Project Fresh Program

  • The Senior Project FRESH program is now open for the 2026 season, offering valuable nutrition support to older adults in our community. This program helps eligible residents access fresh, locally grown produce and promotes healthier eating habits as they age.
  • Program Benefits:

    Free nutrition education
    $25 in benefits to use on fresh fruits, vegetables, and honey at approved local farmers’ markets and roadside stands Eligibility Requirements:
    • Must be 60 years or older, with a household income of $28,952.50 or less for an individual, or $39,127.50 or less for a couple.
    • Adults aged 55 or older who are members of a Michigan federally recognized tribe or urban tribal group are also eligible.
    • Applicants must obtain their benefits within the county they reside in.Application Period:
